I was getting anxious to go camping once again and hungry for some fish and thought i'd post this recipe, sorry for now no pics, lo and behold, dug through freezer and found pkg. of fish, yahoo!! gotta get out fishing once again. This is one of my kids favorite ways of doing fish.
Your favorite fish (walleye, pike, perch)
butter
Spiced Flour recipe:
2 cups flour
2 tsp. celery salt
4 Tbsp paprika
2 tsp. garlic powder
4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. thyme
Put all ingredients together in an empty margarine container or zip lock bag, and shake up. this recipe does a lot of fish, but we tend to make a couple batches over the summer while at the lake. Take your piece of fish and dip both sides in, then place in a well buttered fry pan or on a aluminum foil lined BBQ rack, fry fish till golden brown then flip on second side till golden, serve with mashed potatoes & your fav veggie & or cole slaw or when camping we eat our fish with spagehtti in tomato sauce(bought tins, Heinz or whatever your fav brand) enjoy
